FRANCO ROGNONI Milano 1913 - Milano 1999
Franco Rognoni was born in Milan in 1913, where he lives and works.In 1938 he held his exhibition of drawings and engravings. He has worked intensely in the field of drawing,collaborating with newspapers and magazines. He won a prize for engraving in Nancy,France,another at the Venice Biennial,and several other prizes for painting.
Oltre che in numerose mostre di grafica in diverse cittą italiane, espone in Germania, Svezia e Svizzera.
Nel 1963 viene premiato alla biennale dell'Incisione di Venezia.
Nel 1970 tiene una mostra personale alla Nordness Gallery di New York e nel frattempo espone nelle pił importanti gallerie italiane.
Nel 1972 il Comune di Torino gli dedica una mostra antologica a Palazzo Carignano
