ANTONIO PEDRETTI 1950 GAVIRATE (VA)
His earliest training took place at the painting school at Castello Sforzesco in Milan.He gave his first one man exibition at the age of sixteen at Galleria Cą Vegia in Varese when he presented works made with the spatula technique.Sentimental in spirit and showing excellent technical skills, the paintings featured landscapes,farmhouses,plants,trees and still waters.The latter theme would emerge as a constant in the career of the artist who was born in a lake town and would remain intimately tied to the lacustrine environment.
