GIROLAMO CIULLA Caltanissetta-1953
After early experiences in contact with the Sicilian artistic and cultural world,in 1987 Ciulla moved permanently to pietrasanta, near Lucca.He has held important shows in France,Portugal and Holland.
He is an anthropomorphic and metaphysical sculpture,erudite and profoundly tied to his memory, so imbued with Mediterranean recollections, tastes, colors and sounds,for example the "Crocodiles and Temples",recurrent images in his latest sculptures, both in travertine and in bronze.
